Butyl tape

I. Product Description: butyl tape is a kind of environmental friendly self-adhesive waterproof sealant, which is produced with butyl rubber as the main raw material and other additives through a special process. It has a strong adhesive force on the surface of various materials, excellent weather resistance, aging resistance and water resistance, and has the functions of sealing, vibration reduction and protection on the surface of the adherend. Because it does not contain solvent completely, it does not shrink and emit toxic gas; because it does not solidify all its life, it has excellent follow-up to the surface thermal expansion, cold contraction and mechanical deformation of the adherend, and is an advanced waterproof material.

II. Scope of application:

1) overlapping of steel roof color steel plate and daylighting plate, and sealing of joint of gutter

2) installation of PC board and endurance board, adhesion between EPDM, PE and other polymer materials;

IV. construction method:

1) according to the gap of color steel plate or joint part, select the waterproof tape of appropriate specification according to the engineering design requirements;

2) water, oil, dirt and other impurities on the surface of color steel plate must be completely removed before pasting to keep the surface clean;

3) start from one end of the color steel plate, open the double-sided tape and stick it to the lap joint of the lower layer plate in a straight line along the joint, then press the tape by hand from light to heavy to make it firmly bonded with the color steel plate;

4) tear off the upper isolation paper of the tape, press the upper color plate steel plate of the interface into the joint, and press the joint in sequence after pressing, so that the joint is firmly bonded and tightly sealed.
